It's all about the BikeSafe initiative; it's well worth taking part; however well you think you ride.

Welcome to BikeSafe Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire 2010
Bikesafe in Beds. and Herts.
involves a one to one ride out with a police motorcyclist.
The ride out takes about ¾ hour and following that the officer will offer you
advice on your riding style.
Should you decide you would like further advanced training the Institute of
Advanced Motorcyclists attend the events and there is an opportunity to sign up
for their “Skills for Life” course at a discount.
The ride out with the police is free of charge.

at the “Bikers in Paradise Show” Paradise Wildlife Park.
White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, EN10 7QA. Entry to the show will be free to
people booked on a Bikesafe ride out.

Bikesafe Course.
In partnership with Hertfordshire County
Council, Instructors from the Hertfordshire Constabulary Driving School will be
running a course for motorcycle riders to help them prepare for an Advanced
Test, in association with the Herts and Beds Group of the Institute of Advanced
Motorists.
The course will be classroom
based for four evenings between 7.30 and 9pm. The sessions take place on Monday
29th March, and the following three Tuesdays 6th, 13th and 19th April. There
will be a practical on-road session on Sunday 11th April."
This course will follow the National Bikesafe Curriculum and will cover subjects
such as hazard awareness, filtering, cornering and overtaking. A certificate
will be awarded.
The cost will be £50.
