2009 Quiz Number Two

The second of this years Club Quiz nights was held on Monday 14th December.

The 2009 Photographic Competition

The Annual Competition, held this year on 7th December at The Hen And Chickens, Baldock, attracted another record entry; well done and thanks to all those who took the time and trouble to enter.

Club Auction 2009

Are Annual club auction took place on Monday 23rd November at the Crown PH, Aston End.

We raised £134.80.

Thanks to our Chairman Tony for conducting the Auction, his lovely assistant Stuart for collecting the money and showing the multitude of goods on offer, and to all those who bid.

 2009 Autumn Caption Competition

The 2008 Photographic Competition

This year saw one of the highest number of entries for our annual competition.

 The worthy winner this year is our President Pat Barrett, well done to him.

2009 Cheese Skittles contest

 round three of the annual cheese skittles contest was held at the ivy Leaf Club, Langford,

On Monday 28th September, The winners and scores were:

1st - Graham G - 10 Points

2nd - Stuart Muncy - 8 Points

3rd - Dave P - 5 Points

4th - Keith J - 3 Points

5th - Paul B - 1 Point

Well done to them all.

The Annual champion then had to be decided between the winners of the three rounds, each having scored 10 points, no one else in the competition scored nearly the same.

The three were:

Round 1, Dean Webster

Round 2, David Kinch

Round 3, graham G

 

After a close fought contest the result was:

First - David Kinch

Second - Dean webster

Third - Graham G

Well done to all, and thanks to Mike Austin for running and scoring the competition.

A special mention must be made of both Roger pink and Keith J, both of whom came in the top five of two rounds of the competition.
