Our annual George Brown Memorial Run was once more a very successful event, 26 official entries and lots of club members on modern bikes also attending.

Information and entry form for the run
STEVENAGE & DISTRICT M.C.C GEORGE BROWN MEMORIAL RUN SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
1 The run shall be a road safety and social event.
2 The run shall be open to all machines first registered before December
31st 1999. 3 Entry fee shall be £8.00 per rider plus £5.00 for passenger
5 Entry fees will only be refunded in the event of postponement or
Abandonment. CLASSES
6 Each entrant shall compete in one of the following classes Class I Vintage Solo, manufactured between 1-1-1915 & 3
1-12-1930 Class 2 Post Vintage Solo, manufactured between 1-1-1931 &
3 1-12-1944. Class 3 Post War Solo, manufactured between 1-1-1 945 & 3
1-12-1954 Class 4 Classic Solo, manufactured between 1-1-1955 & 3
1-12-1971 Class 5 Modern Classic Solo, manufactured between 1-1-1972
& 31.-12-1983 Class 6 Nearly There Classic Solo, manufactured between
1-1-84 & 31-12-1999 Class 7 Motor Cycle and Sidecar. AWARDS 7 An award will be made to the best machines in all the above
classes. Road Safety Award Most Desirable Machine Award Best British Bike Best Japanese Bike Best Two Stroke Bike The George Brown Memorial Trophy to the Best Vincent or
HRD The Ladies Rosebowl to the Best Performance by a Lady
Entrant The Joe Evanson Trophy for the Best Performance by a
non club member. The Terry Ives Trophy for the Oldest Combined Age of Rider
and Machine. The Dave Green Trophy to the Best Stevenage Club Member The Ian Ashwell Trophy for the Best Entry by a Stevenage
Club Member.
8 To be eligible for an Award, a rider or driver must complete the
route.

MACHINE REG.NUMBER YEAR . INDEMNITY I have read the Supplementary Regulations issued for this meeting and I agree to be bound by them. In consideration of the acceptance of this my entry, I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Stevenage & District M.C.C. and the owners or lessees of any land used for this meeting and their prospective officials ,servants, representatives and agents from and against all actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death or injury to myself, howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with my entry or my taking part in this meeting, and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies, their officials, servants, representatives or agents. I declare I have attained the age of which I am legally entitled to drive a motor vehicle.
